Every year, over 100 million American families head off on their annual vacation, arriving at their destination by plane, car, train, and bus. Hanging onto the hands or in the arms of these parents are children, ranging in age from a few months to their teens. Children can sometimes be a problem when away from home. They often become impatient, unruly, hyper, bored, undisciplined, aggressive, annoying, demanding, uncontrollable, easily distracted, whiners, fidgeters, competitiors and ...well, you get the idea. The poor vacactioning parents have to deal with all of this.
This is a game book for children, a book designed to keep them occupied while traveling. Up to six children can play the game and the book opens with instructions. Each page consists of 10-14 images (some samples below). These are images they are likely to see if they're traveling to a destination, in a restaurant or hotel, at an amusement park, at the beach...any place they might find themselves when away from home. Each image is worth a number of points. The more likely they are to see that image (a baseball cap, a red car, for instance), the less points they earn. Rare items (a lighthouse, for example) are worth more points. The winner is the person with the most points when the game is over. The game is over when they reach their destination, the parent says so, they complete a page, etc. Below are some sample images chosen at random. Number of pages will depend on the publisher's idea of what would make the best selling book. We would suggest 60 or more pages. We have over 1,000 images like this. Graphics are available in black/white, color or a combination of both.
