...the beginning
Back in 1969, a group of writers from around the world got together in New York to discuss the highly-competitive writing-for-money business - submitting articles and book outlines to publishers around the world. These were well-known professionals from Europe, South America, Australia, Canada and the United States, established magazine and newspaper writers with credits on subjects ranging from self-help to computers to travel and beyond.

They came together to work out the details of combining their writing and marketing skills to assist each other in selling their material to publications around the world. A writer in France, for example, might write an article on vacationing in Paris or a tourist' guide to speaking French.  Members in other countries would submit the articles to magazines and newspapers in their country and share in the rewards. As a result, some articles have been sold 20-30 times.
